-visit Whales of Iceland
-walking tour of Reykjavik
Day 3: -bus to Akureyri
-hike Grábrók Crater and lava fields
-walking tour Akureyri
Day 4: -stand below Goðafoss
-hike Lake Mývatn volcanic rock formations
-swim Mývatn mineral baths
-hike (around) boiling mud pits and hot springs of Nammafjall
-explore lava formations at Dimmuborgir (The Trolls)
Day 5: -Akureyri whale watching
-hike Iceland’s largest fjord
-meet with local fisherman to discuss fishing industry in Iceland
Day 6: -tour Gauksmyri Stables
-discuss biodiversity and climate with Univ of Akureyri Oceanographer
-hike to Barnafoss Waterfall and Hvítá River

Iceland 2019 At-A-Glance
Dates:
8 days, between Feb 27 & March 10 (exact dates TBD)
Cost:
$3515 to EF Tours (includes everything but spending money)
$200 to LCDS (includes transportation to/from airport, ISOS insurance)
Signup:
11th/12th grade: Friday, 3/23 3pm
